I can use jump as part of my movement to jump over difficult terrain. Can I use it to avoid AOO?

I haven't really read rules covering that... as far as I know, only shifting prevents opportunity attacks. If moving away counts as provoking opportunity attacks, I guess jumping would provoke the same.

That I would agree with you cos it makes logical sense. But my question was leaning more towards jumping across threatened squares.

Difficult terrain wouldn't count as a factor unless the difficult terrain as a height factor... like cobwebs from the ceiling to the floor.
As for jumping over squares occupied by enemies depends on a case by case basis coz there is a height factor, unless you are jumping from a higher ground; for instance like a table. But if you are from level ground trying to somersault over the air, leaping over your enemies... that might provoke opportunity attacks.
In any case, whether it grants opportunity attacks, and it's a -2 penalty to the Acrobatics skill check to avoid being attacked by the enemies... depends on the scenario itself.
We shall cover more of that when you try in a battle encounter. Nothing is more enriching in discovery than through multiple failed attempts. We all learn through mistakes.

Careful, Gond. Jumping over foes may provoke attacks to vital body parts. That's worse than kena critical...

haha thanks for the advice. however its quite impossible to see a 150kg person clear a height of 7' - 8'... what i wanted was more to jump over threatened squares. If Gond is doing that he will cover his jewels (although how he will use that to procreate with a drayad is interesting..)

I don't want to imagine a goliath humping a tree-like humanoid... spare me the misery...

I'm sure golly with share the fates of the recent cases of a hong kong dude who "did-it" with a park bench and the other case of a singaporean retiree who jerked off with a bottle and died - they all got stuck. Hahaha!

the difference is that the 2 quoted cases are inanimate objects. the one Gond is doing is alive. hmmm is it too late to change Drad Mi from a dryad to a nymph? the 3rd Ed one.

the player Jin cries as he imagines the image.... the character Gond however, loudly declares "Gond will triumph over any obstacle! No obstacle is too big, too small, too long, too rough for him!"
"Have you seen my submarine? Its long and hard and full of seaman." - Dr Evil.
