I recced the PI forums. There's mention that the event will be held at Sporecon (Initiated by PI).

Anyone able to filter out relevant information from here?

I would be working on the 23rd May. However, if majority of the party is willing to take part in the event, I can attune myself to fall sick with a voluntary -10 penalty against Fortitude to go to work.

I guess the best place to check out is at Paradigm Infinite itself. If majority of us go, I don't mind DMing and we can all form a group like the previous time.

And this time round, any drow avenger that tries to stop a dragonborn paladin from being upright and just will see a swarm of gold dragons flying towards him with their jaws open, breath attacks always a critical hit.

I reckon SporeCon is more boardgaming and introduction of the DnD 4th Ed... the DnD Game Day will be held in conjunction with the release of the new MM2. So I dont think its the same.

The rogue is alive! let's put to attendance how many would like to participate. Then I shall check it out at Paradigm and get more information. So, it be cool if we can form our own group and get the darn free miniatures. Woo-hoo! Erm... but that information is found on WoTC, would it be applicable to Paradigm?

It's been discussed at the Paradigm forums, therefore I strongly believe that PI may host the event.

I have checked it out at Paradigm... it seems that the event will be held in mid June - 13th and 14th [13th being my birthday... wahahhaa];as for the DMing part, it seems they already have their own DMs, although they wouldn't mind people volunteering on taking DM roles.

This DnD Gameday is not held in conjunction with SporeCon right?

I doubt so. Sporecon is probably some mushroom event. PI is doing it on their own. I believe, though I have yet to confirm. Whether I am allowed to DM is another issue altogether.

For those who aren't aware, SPORE Con will be held this year on the 13th and 14th of June, at Chua Chu Kang Community Centre. More information can be found at spore-con.com/...

Below are the events that the D&D sector will be offering:

Worldwide D&D Gameday - MM2

Gameday for MM2 will be held during SPORE Con, instead of the original date of 23rd May.

Journey Through the Silver Caves – A kobold wyrmpriest has stolen an ancient book of prophecy from the people of Albura, a fortress on the borderlands. The kobold has a dark plan for the book – and only you can stop him in time! An adventure for 5 pregenerated 5th-level characters:

1. Althaea, ungendered Eladrin Wizard
2. Chance, male Tiefling Warlord
3. Uthal, male Goliath Barbarian
4. Eomer, male Dwarf Paladin
5. Arjhana, female Dragonborn Rogue

Join in and you will get to see some new monsters from MM2, especially an iconic monster that players used to hate in 3.5...

Signup will be available from 9th May at PI, till 23rd May. Please be aware that a valid RPGA/DCI number is required for sign-up. Non-members can sign up for DCI membership for free over the counter before signing up for the Game Day. Slots are limited!

Delve Challenge

So you think you are tough, eh? Or at least the characters you build are tough? Pit them against the series of adventures we prepared just for this occasion, tavern-style! Form a party, and visit the notice board to see what jobs are available. Pick one, and off you go. Don't expect the difficulty rating to be there though. That's what adventuring is about, isn't it?

Survive enough of them, and your character gets entered into the Roll of Honour. One wrong step, and it's the Roll of HORROR that he will be going instead.

No mercy, no takebacks. A dead character is dead-dead, with the character sheet taken away for trophy on the Roll of Horror. Prepare more than one character, ya?

Character-creation rules regarding this event will be released on the 13th of May. Exactly 1 month before the event itself.

Newbie Corner

Got a friend or two who is interested in learning D&D? We will have a table or two catered for that. We will teach them the rules slowly, and pit them against a couple of monsters. Once they think they are ready, we will run a short module for them to let them have a feel of roleplaying. Or they can join the Gameday table if there are free slots (or if they signed up for a later slot).

Gond: I did check with the guy at PI, he told me to contact one fella called Lester, is it the same person you spoke to? And actually, I don't really want to DM because this is one of the few chances I get to be a player. Although I don't deny the lure of the miniatures do attract.

Anyway I have already reserved our names for the D&D game day on 14th June at the second slot from 2pm to 6pm. I have reserved for Gond, Tassa'dar, Mobius, Romean and Ainarielle. For those who have RPGA membership, they are able to trace. For those who did not go for the previous D&D game day, the person-in-charge will contact you and register for you. That means, Mobius and Romean, I left your contact numbers as required for reserving a slot for you.

Anybody interested in having another round after the session during the D&D game day session? Although, I am thinking of it as a good time to introduce a new campaign by a secondary DM. Any volunteers?

I would love to DM, however, my schedule makes converting to 4th Ed and preparing a little tight for me by 14th June.....

Hi sorry i haven't been following this page or updates on DnD game day. I prob will be unable to make it as i've got an impt church event going on in the city area till 3-plus-4.

If there does turn out to be a session at Lyn's place after that, do let me know. I'll be at home in Pasir Ris, can go easily from there...
