Pg. 289 states that retrieving a potion from your person and drinking it are 2 separate minor actions. So are we gonna condense these two actions as 1 single minor action?

It will count as 2 separate minor actions.

The same, it's 2 minor actions. Retrieving it from your pouch is still retrieving it from your person. And having to uncork the vial of potion is another minor action. No two ways about it.

Unless you got the Quickdraw feat, then you can draw the item or weapon in the same action that you attack with it or use it.
