Ah... it's common. Same thing happens for D&D too I suppose. But I am loving the 4th ed.

But I am loving the 4th ed. I haven't imagined myself saying this; but I'm in love with 4th ed too - especially for its diversity.

Ah... one more player who loves the 4th ed... One reason why I never loved the 3rd ed was because of the prints and the illustrations. 4th Ed abolished all that I disliked about 3rd ed.
Seriously who cares about them being folded wrong? We just want whats inside... *evil laughter*

Ah... one more player who loves the 4th ed... One reason why I never loved the 3rd ed was because of the prints and the illustrations. 4th Ed abolished all that I disliked about 3rd ed. For one, it turned from an individualistic-game into a team-synergetic one - and I welcome that change a damn lot. (for the record, it was mainly due to the immense potential of solo character-builds in previous editions that made it.. less enjoyable compared to 4th.) Also, the mechanics and rules in 4th eased the creation of exotic races and classes for players and DMs. Heck! Batman/Darth Maul = Avenger! ;D Heck! Gimme a pristine 1gp anytime in the booster pack and i'll be happy.

But for this campaign; new creation of races and classes are only allowed from official material or if it gets uploaded in the board under the DM Speaks section. Unless some player really wants to contribute to the history and making of Faerun in our campaign. For the love of God, I am not going to allow new PC races like Transformers and classes like Decepticon soldier who wouldn't? in fact, I would love a real one too.

How about PC races with anime influence? I would like a repentent-assasin-samurai-with-a-X-scar-on-his-face-and-wielding-a-reverse-blade-katana.

Ok... we already have a wizard who aspires to be Raistlin... and now another who aspires to be Samurai X... Anybody wants to do Edward & Alphonse? I don't mind an Akashiya Moka though... Hahahaha. Anyway, on a serious note, anime influence is fine.
