nopopo battery. sighz...
I tried to bring this into singapore here's the lowdown.
It's too pricey. It comes uncharged and once charged can only hold charge for up to 3 days approx 5 recharges. Useful as a contingency battery.
Originally intended to use this for Singapore's World Water Day in my tender but the government decided to use another company so this never came into fruition.
Nevertheless wanted to become the distributor for this battery (can sell 2 AAs at about 50 bux...) yes that's how much it'll cost. There's no market and people won't buy but we intend to have this for disaster prone places.
Messaged Japan but they never replied.
Had this in view since last year.
If anyone ever can get a distributor of this to talk........ please do let me know.

Er isnt stocking up on standard double AA batteries better than these? And more cost effective too..

standard batteries come charged and carry a shelf life.
These come uncharged and has literally little to no shelf life. A standard battery pack when unused can hold charge up to 2 years if i recall right.
This is the major difference when it comes to disaster reliefs.
