Hello DM Alvin,
Today Dark Sun session was a blast, thanks for having me in your group.
However, I have a little confusion about Chatkcha and Shuriken. In dark sun campaign setting, is Shuriken fully replace by Chatkcha?
Because I have selected a Rogue Weapon Talent option that says "Damage die increases one size with Shuriken, +1 attacks with daggers"
Does that means that I roll 1d8 damage for Chatkcha instead of 1d6? please clarify.

yes that is correct. All references to Shurikens are now Chatkchas

ehh i just realised one thing. chatkchas description states tat it returns to a proficient wielder's hand after the ranged attack is resolved. so it works like a boomerang?

the boomerang effect is to let you not have to rely on magic throwing weapons, since its supposed to be rare and all that.

I wanted to treat shurikens and chatkas as expendibles but if darksun book designed chatka to be boomerang-ish is ok too. Less headache on my end also.
