For those who are eligible for the free upgrade, what you will be doing is to go to the Apple Retailer you bought your Mac from and the upgrade will be done for you there. My information mostly implies to Premium Resellers however, for the rest should be the same but who knows Hope this helps !

Btw, do drop a call to the reseller to check if they already provide the service after Lion is released.

I discourage this.

Reason: You'll be downloading the Upgrade over their web, you'll be logging into the apple account over their web. The speed and time being wasted is another issue.

IF the resellers have a 'free' version that can be immediately installed, then good, if it requires the download over their web... bad (waste of time over slow network)
