I was studying the phb last night when i came across the section on generating ability scores (within the first few pages of the PHB). It occured to me that the 22 point-buy isn't a 1-for-1 point system.
Meaning, the points to attain higher stat-points are incremental.
E.g: raising your primary stat from 10->18 requires you to spend 16 buy-points to achieve (not 8 points)
So if you've got 2 x 16s, and other relatively high stats (before racial adjustments), you've probably got something wrong somewhere - like me.

... serious? I'll check it out again, well; I guess the next session, we will have to redraft the PC stats and abilities again. We should go through it section by section. I believe within an hour would suffice. And I encourage the use of the powers and magic items cards sheet which I will be providing. It's easier during combat time when players got to constantly flip through the pages to consult the rules specifics.

Reminder: Please review your character before the game so you're still eligible to acquire feats that will aid your character in later levels.

shady and my character should be ok, we used the table provided at PHB and did not use 22 points.

I think Mobius used the point-buying system... well; in any case this Friday we still are going to do a final round up on loose bits and ends.
