Note: THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM HOW THOR, THE MYTH/FABLE/COMIC GOES
Thor was born in Asgard, a realm that takes to it to oversee the Peace and Protection from Destruction of other Realms. This realm, now forgotten by most of other realms is the only realm that is now able to oversee other realms through the help of the Watcher.
He was born a prince in the kingdom. Odin, his father, birthed him in his travels across the various realms, where he took an elven wife. Thus, the half-elf Thor came to being.
Thor was brought up to be a Knight for the people, to protect them. He was taught amongst the Nobles, to respect Order and Observe Peace.
Heir to the Throne, Thor grew up obnoxious seeking war, blood, glory above all else and was thus incapable of leading the people and thereafter sent to Earth, a prime Material Realm where water is its richest resource.
He is not to return to Asgard until he learns the importance of selflessness and leadership.
However due to the Spellplague that occurred. Bifrost was interrupted and Thor was missent to Faerun.
He landed in Akanûl.
In Faerun, he resided in Akanûl for many years. Here he assisted in the defence of Brassune from the Kraken.
In Akanûl, he met a human, Triss Marigold, whom he spent countless days and months with. After the fight with the Kraken, he went into seclusion.
He kept himself busy in the company of Triss by the Sea. Nights of jubilence and euphoric moments marked this phase of his life.
That soon shattered when he failed to protect his love. Triss was bathing in the moonlight one fullmoon night. Thor as usual would be with her as they embraced each another's company. A dark shadow loomed in the distance and Thor left the sorceress, Triss for a brief moment to check on the figure.
Worried for her, he took a look at her but she shushed him and told him, "I can fend for myself" and then she smiled.
Thor left her and as he reached the shore where he saw the dark figure, he took a glance behind to see Triss only to find the dark figure behind her now. Under the fullmoon's light, he recognised it as a shade of the underdark but bearing Netheril's Symbol.
Triss was looking at Thor as he then ran back towards her. It was too late. The shade sucked out the life from Triss right before Thor's eyes and dissappeared with a mocking laugh.
Thor now, overwhelmed by surging emotions lost his head and thundered towards Triss, catching her in the water as she fell. "Triss!!!"
As he wept and bit his lips bitterly, he vowed vengeance against Netheril, swearing their total destruction for this deed. Even if it means never to return to Asgard.
