oh. sure it wasn't tough. in fact, save for a successful third saving throw from death, Squeaks would have less a pally friend. : p
oh yeah, and did Squeaks manage to shave a hefty amount of life from the boss - 76 dmg dealt a pop!

he's very solid. Leonard shld have jus taken Squeaks. I checked WoTC, apparently the race writeup is currently available in Dragon magazines, not yet implemented in the official books. quite an interesting race... check out the link WarForged - www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drfe/20080606b

The dragonborn paladin was accursed today... I think it's to do with the evil from the Drow. Hmmz... elijin, did you subscribe to D&D Insider?

There is something I don't understand. Anybody knows why some of the Dragon articles can be downloaded... whilst some cannot be downloaded? They are all compiled in the archive department. Just like I can download the Warforged material, but I can't download the Dampyre material in a later issue of Dragon.

i didn't suscribe to Insider.. apparently i just googled Warforged, and that link came up. Maybe this ability to download will indicate if it becomes official material (in supplement books) or if its an "open source". So is the war forged playable?

Any official material endorsed by WoTC; material from published books or from D&DInsider - like Dragon articles and all that; is permissible in my campaign. Warforged is published online and provides gameplay rules with the powers, etc... so, it's playable.
