Eberron is a campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, set in a period after a vast destructive war on the continent of Khorvaire. Eberron is designed to accommodate traditional D&D elements and races within a differently toned setting; Eberron combines a fantasy tone with pulp and dark adventure elements, and some non-traditional fantasy technologies such as trains, skyships, and mechanical beings which are all powered by magic.
I quote this from the Wikipedia website. The Eberron campaign guide is out. It looks like an interesting kind of campaign to play in.
Anyone interested to play in this campaign?

If you are interested and serious about getting into it, I will get the player's guide for it.

Ah, i'm definitely going homebrew for a while (and i highly doubt i'll dwell into campaign settings). However, as per said, if anyone wants/likes inspiration from Eberron for their characters, i'm totally cool with it as well - it being official material as per se.

Hmmz... I doubt they would introduce any new classes or races in the guide [probably going to be something like in the Forgotten Realms players guide]. I'll stick to my Eladrin Warlock... but I might turn him into a dhampyr

I wouldn't draw blood out from any of my comrades... unless they piss me off.

My point exactly...
Seriously, I've made up me mind to play a Elven Ranger so I'll like to get hold of Martial Powers to draw him up.

I might be shelving my monk to play a fire wizard summoner or a rogue-gish character, cos we have to balance the team, got too many fighting people, all the Gond wannabes.

If Erevan is a dhampyr... he goes for the fresh blood... the one that comes out flowing from the genitals of the female species would be too obnoxious for Erevan to even take a sniff. Erevan always goes for fine-dining... But, if the female victim is someone like Fiona Xie or Jessica Alba... Erevan may just look the other way...
By the way, don't worry about balancing the group. I believe we can survive... as long as Erevan is in the party.

Ahh, me glad to see fellow teammates can just be as gross as me. Warms my heart...
Hmmm, thought the point of this alternate campaign is to play against type. Martial heroes in the main campaign can get a taste of Arcane powers in this one and vice versa.
Gond, gotta get me hands on your downloads and fast.

The point still stands - and only Leonard has free-choice. Everyone else is required to play a different type of character from the main campaign. (of course, Jin, i forgot about your monk - but I think you're switching to a mage yeah?)
