Please read through 'Ready An Action' on pg. 291 of the PHB so that you would understand whether your readying action would be an immediate interrupt or immediate reaction.
The gist of it is, if you ready an action based on the enemy's movement, you get an immediate interrupt.
If you ready an action based on the enemy's actions after his movements, you get an immediate reaction.
In an immediate interrupt, your PC will act first.
In an immediate reaction, the enemy completes his act before you proceed with yours.
