Guys, all the rules for fighting a creature we can't see due to invisibility, blindness or darkness is listed at the bottom bar of pg. 281 of the PHB. Looks like we don't have to roll an 8-sided dice after.
My feeling is that we should stick as close to the listed rules as possible.

We based on that bottom bar to come up with the current house rule. According to it, it says that for close or area attacks to pick a square that u think the concealed creature is in. But its kinda difficult since you already know where everyone is on the board.
There is one rule we missed out, which is to make a perception check. You can make an active perception check as a minor action, and compared with the creature's stealth check. If you beat it by 10 or more, you know the direction to its location. But bearing in mind, you take a -10 to perception checks jus by being blinded. But its still a try.
So I vote: if blinded and you want to do a area or close attack, you basically make an active perception check as a minor action oppose to the creature's stealth check. If you still dunno where it is, you role a d8 to see where your area attacks hit.

For myself, I will refrain from area attacks if i was blinded from now onwards. Don't want burning me own mates. Hell, making ranged attacks with a -5 penalty is a better deal under these conditions.

I agree with Gond. And yes, the house-rule came up precisely because the rules mentioned on pg. 281 is not comprehensive enough. I know you choose a spot as a guess and you make an attack roll, and the DM will reveal if it strikes. But the problem is, it does not cover the situation where the player does not need to choose the spot because the tokens are already laid out on the batle map. Unless you want the DM to remove all the tokens on the wizards turn. But then again, the wizard would remember where to choose.
And one more thing, this blindness rule also applies to melee attacks and ranged attacks. I will make an update on it in the house rules.
