The Paragon adventures of DMC continue on 15th July 2011 at Games Garage. When Mobius decided to hide back in the Bag of Holding, safe and tucked in his cocoon
Party comprises of Thor (played by Alvin), Kai (played by Eugene), Zaratul (played by Marcus) and Illidian (played by SC)
The party resume the adventures and find themselves stepping out of the teleportation weave in what seems like a female latrine. Confusion arises as the women of the Peony Pavilion discover Thor and Illidian in the female latrine, whilst Kai and Zeratul managed to teleport themselves out of harm's way. However, before the matter got out of hand, Goku appears and a warm welcome is extended to the party.
Catching up on the events in Westgate, it seems that some folks have been having visions during their sleep at night. The sky is burning crimson and amidst the inferno, a lady with foreign attire walks along the streets, shedding tears of blood. And those who wake up after the nightmare, tend to be gibberish before going into a quiet state, refusing to talk much.
The party also discover that the Scurvy Manta has been destroyed and sunk to the sea and the crew all killed and displayed on spike poles along the sea port. Talks reveal that one night, black mist from across the straits came and engulfed the Scurvy Manta and all the crew were murdered. None of the other ships were affected. No one dares sails the seas now.
At Corvar's Ale, the party meet up with the barmaid Rachel who agrees to fix an appointment for the party to meet one of the victims of the nightmares - Randell, a young man of about 15 years of age.
The old wizard awaits the party and advises them to seek out the remaining rods left - and not to entrust the rods into anyone's hands. One of the rods is believed to be found in the northern side of Faerun - Icewind Dales, and the other to be at the south in Durpar. It is only when 6 pieces are gathered, would it reveal the last and final piece. He believes the last piece would probably be located somewhere out of the Prime Plane, probably in the Astral Sea. He advises the party to seek aid from one of the eldest and highly revered wizard in Faerun - Elminster.
Goku wants the rods, Lord Jaundamicar wants the party to meet up with him.
What awaits the party now that they have escaped the Underdark? Only to return to a more complicated and dubious situation than before. Can the party tap on Lord Jaundamicar's resources? Can they rely on Goku? Would the search for Elminster be in vain? Or would they also be victim of the visions that plague the people of Westgate?
Til the next session...
