The Paragon adventures of DMC continue on 25th June 2011 at Games Garage. When Mobius finally came out of the Bag of Holding and broke free from the cocoon
Party comprises of Thor (played by Alvin), Kai (played by Eugene), Zaratul (played by Marcus), Mobius (played by Edmund) and Illidian (played by SC)
The session begins with the party deciding to swing across the lake of magma onto the other side to confront the dragon again. However, when they enter the same cavern, they see two ogre -like creatures trying to grab hold of a woman. And amongst them is a genasi. Without any hesitation, the party rush into battle to protect the woman, only to find out that she is a demon ooze in disguise. However, the party manage to defeat the monstrous group and move beyond the double doors.
A corridor leads to another set of double doors and two statues of demons are at the far end of the corridor. Kai instinctively climbs along the wall after assuring the party that there are no traps on the floor - much to the party's disbelief. However, as Zeratul and Mobius try to break free the arcane ward that protects the set of double doors, the statues swing around and grab hold of some of the party members. But Kai manages to disarm one of the statues and Illidian comes over to disarm the other. At the same time, the wizards manage to break open the arcane ward and open the set of double doors.
The party stumble into a grand looking room with a throne and meet the dragon and the party. Kai informs the dragon that the crown is with Mobius. The dragon then looks towards Mobius, however, the dishonored mage unleashes his magical powers upon the dragon and his company with word of warning and a battle ensues. Once more, Zeratul and Illidian combine their forces to put down the threats of the dragon and his company. It is even more lethal this time with Mobius' Stinking Cloud.
The party manage to find a secret door that leads into another room with shelves of books and a rune inscribed on the floor at the corner. A large treasure chest is located at the far end when the rune is at. As the party looks around the room, Thor notices something approaching from a set of curtains along the wall of the room. An undead beholder emerges from beyond and the party - almost exhausted from the previous encounters, still manage to put down the beholder.
After gathering the treasure and finding a broken rod in the chest, Mobius also finds knowledge into some rituals. Zeratul decides to try and control the portal and the party bring themselves through the portal. Zeratul, through control of the portal, thinks of Westgate... in the hope that the party gets teleported to the Peony Pavilion.
Will the party really emerge out of the Underdark and into Westgate again?
And if it is so, will the party be able to recover the rod from Goku? Will Lord Jaundamicar hunt them down? Will the mysterious wise man appear once more to speak to Mobius? Would Kai's search for an airship be in vain?
Or would the party actually descend into the deepest reaches of the Underdark?
