There will be no DD sessions on these two weeks. DM has to attend to RL events  DM will resume on the saturday of 28th May to kick butt. Or butts. |

swap for: Quick Draw
or will i have to wait till the next lvl up before i'm allowed to swap em out? =/?

Hi dudes. I will be running a one off 16th level killer dungeon delve this coming Saturday 14th May for my own personal delight. Delve is for 5 players, aiming to start at 7pm in the evening.
There is a time limit on the delve, after which poison smoke from the dungeon kills players. It is combat light and there are many save or die effects, and will test the wits and ingenuity of the players to the max. It aims to recreate the feeling of old school dungeon crawls, where the DM is merciless and one wrong step can leave you legless.
I currently have 3 players, have slots for 2 more brave souls. Please text me at nine eight five six six four eight five if you are interested! You can create your own character as per normal character generation for 16th level, or you can use one of the pregens provided.

+2 init bonus ( giving a total of +10 for init checks with sengchoon's buff)
and quicker to draw potions to use. able to use a single minor to draw and drink at once.
i figure it would provide me with more options in combat.
so instead of minor(draw)+minor(drink) +standard(attack), and be rooted to the spot (and thus almost ensuring i'd be hit again the next round)
or minor(draw)+minor(drink)+move, and not be fulfilling my role as a striker.
or being forced to take the minors on 2 separate turns, making the healing process take longer ( and i might be down after that 1st turn)

You are a striker, and your best defense is an awesome offense. true that, but my AC on paper is still.. well, paper (pun intended). i dont plan to be using pots as my main source of healing (that would be expensive as hell. and as u said, leave the real healing to the healers) but more of an "oh shit that hurt" panic button i figured quick draw would help on multiple fronts. - init bonus to increase my chances of my first strike class feature going off - action economy with the healing potions, - and if it actually comes down to it, drawing and throwing an alchemist's fire in 1 standard action (minions are a pain in the ass without a controller  ) of course this is all just theoretical scenarios on my part. if anyone has a suggestion i'd be glad to hear it |

Lethal Action is not that useful at low levels. So retraining it out for something else can be pretty effective. Quick Draw will help you quite a fair bit, unless you want to always hold a potion in your off hand or something =P You're going to die a horrible death anyway, why be so attached to your character  |
