Session #3 - 13082011 - The caravan must flow...

Progress:
With Bobay Zhao still under the effects of a fever, the party moves on with much casualties in their convoy towards South Ledopolus
Having the party led by Roland, the party progressed onward. As they near the trading outpost of South Ledopolus, the saw a battle taking place in the distance. Roland led the party to vear away from the combat while remaining on track but saw that the battle involved the Atreides. The caravan under assault belongs to the Atreides. However the people attacking the caravan was also Atreides people. This confused the group costing them valuable time. By the time they identified who was the real aggressor, it was too late and the enemy knocked out most of the bodyguards of the caravan.
The Scoi'tael went into the combat and took out the agents of Hakonnen that were masquerading as House Atreides agents.
These bodyguards appear to have tidings with Fremen as they wear the green cloak the Fremen wears often.
After dispatching the agents and reviving their allies, the Scoi'tael went on about their mission. They reach South Ledopolus which has now become a ruined trading outpost. There are scorch marks on the walls and floors but these don't seem like acts of defiling. Bloodied handprints lay around the walls forming a pattern that can be identified as the work of a specific halfling group.
The traders of the attacked caravan decides to stay the night in the outpost believing whomever came will not revisit. They loaned the Scoi'tael their injured beast and prepared for rest.
The party instead decided to move forward. Heading to Balic where the storm is now seemingly heading towards.
Close to the first gate, the party decided it was safe to stay the night there.
