ehhh shardminds arent arcane energies...they're more like beings held tgt by strong pisonic forces.
n deva's dun die do they? their spirit gets reborn over n over again(with little memory of their past lifes).

Made a mistake about the shardminds. I amended my earlier post on them.
the foulborn is fine. yes far realms exist in my setting.
Deva's are servitors of gods. There are no gods hence no gods left to sustain them or give them purpose hence they're gone. Plus they're reborn in sacred areas.

I'm playing a Minotaur Warden. Will upload character sheet in a while... hmmm...Dune backstory...ok i'll try, here it goes Bobay was not born in the traditional sense, but rather "created" in an experiment gone awry when Sardaukar scientist attempted to genetically mutate a Salusan Bull and a Sardaukar warrior. When word of the experiment's failure reached the Emperor ears, he had the entire team slaughtered and the infant abomination was tossed in the desert plans of Arrakis to die. Fortunately, the half-bull, half-warrior, was picked up by the Atreides and taught the ways of the sand. Learning the arts of mastery of the sand to twart and slow his foes, the young bull was given the name Bobay Zhao, after an ancient saying which meant, "There is no where to run". Sorry no go. No links to any Fremen at all. Instead you can say Atreides picked you up and you grew with them and now live amongst them. Ok fixed |

Background:
The story of Milkeila...where do i start? For one, she wasnt like most of her other brethren and sisters who delved in the psionic arts that came so naturally to a shardmind. Her primal powers came to her when she was just born, and thus she was interested in the land above where the powers were so much stronger(much to the dismay of the other shardminds).
One day she felt a source of power call out to her. She followed the call and found herself before the great elemental spirits They made a pact with her, lending her a spark of fire as her spirit companion. All they asked was for her to heal the land above as best as she could.
She accepted.
She was then shot off to the surface world(literally shot thru the rock ceiling). She appeared on the surface with a bang, groggy from the 'travel' and appearing in front of a group of heavily wounded travelers(a.k.a the group b4 they met her). She went over warily to heal and aid them, and as she did she felt power she had nvr felt surge thru her. Seeing her healing prowess, the travelers decided to recruit her into their group.

Shardmind approved but u better can tahan the "eyes" of the people as they stare at u and some look at u with fear... AMulet of healing can be obtained as per creation rules. so i assume you are going point buy then?

whew...if u werent gonna approve i would hav had to use a tri-kreen fighter(kinda wanna use it too though XD) when u say no essentials stuff, does tat include superior fort/reflex/will and all the expertise feats? n yes i'm point buying

I feel that DSX has high risk high reward. A few sweet rolls and ur base stats will be Damn good.

your next game with jin i will run the dsx rolls.
Im prepping the story in the meantime, it'll be rather sandboxy with a main plot to hold things together.
Hopefully game is ready in 2 weeks from now.

you'll need to check with jin if he plans to hold another session. today was supposed to be the last session (till nov).
btw just to check, DSX chars allowed to spend that 1000gp on magic items? ( like a simple +1____) or is it strictly meant to be pocket change?
also, what is everyone's view on the wild talents? worth spending a feat to get wild talent mastery? or are they mostly useless. ( i dunno. imo they seem to have a lot of out of combat utility). suggestions?
side note: thinking of changing to an ardent (leader).. looks to be more fun to play than the psion i came up with.
any violent objections?
(he'll be using a polearm )
